Feature

  • Led as the main light source+passive reflective material which can mark the direction of the road more clearly and safely. Compared with the traditional cat’s eye road stud, this double-sided solar-powered road stud will be safe and durable. Even if the solar system fails, passive reflection can guide the driver correctly. The visual distance up to 500meter.
  • There is a solar energy control system inside, it can actively control the LED lighting mode and frequency. Steady on or flashing optional.
  • There are five colours for passive reflective materials,yellow(amber),white,blue,red,green.The light-emitting surface can be freely combined with these reflective covers to meet the application needs of various places. Installation for solar-powered road stud

(1) Positioning: First determine the installation position with a ruler, and ensure that each position is longitudinally in a straight line. The installation distance and design requirements shall prevail. The installation place shall be flat, dry, clean, and seamless. Use solar road studs or templates to mark out the holes, and drill holes with an electric hammer with a diameter of ∮8mm, with a depth of 5cm. After drilling the hole, clean the dust cover, install the rubber plug into the hole, and level with the road surface.

(2) Mixing glue: A glue for road studs and glue B for solar road studs. The ratio of glue A and glue B is 1:1(for example, glue A is 1 kilogram, glue B is 1 kilogram). We have to keep glue stirred evenly and consistent color.

(3) Screw on the screws with glue: cleaning the road surface during installation, and using moderate glue to stick to the bottom surface of solar-powered road stud without spilling too much. Only use the glue of 40-50grams for each spike. Place the bottom surface of the road marking on the position where the holes are made, and then tighten it with two special screws and rubber plugs. Clean up road debris after installation.

(4) Patrol: You need to check the installed spikes after two hours.

(5) Road closure: We recommend closing the road for 6 hours to ensure the curing time of the glue.
